The Gutter Gurus (a trading name of Andrew Curle, ABN 43 933 856 157)

These Terms & Conditions apply to all gutter cleaning subscription plans provided by The Gutter Gurus, including 1-clean, 2-clean, and 3-clean annual service plans.

By subscribing, you agree to the following terms.

1. Subscription Plans

1.1 Clients may choose from subscription plans offering 1, 2, or 3 scheduled annual gutter cleaning visits.

1.2 Each plan includes a mandatory initial clean and roof/gutter assessment, billed via the one-off setup fee.

1.3 Subscriptions are a minimum 12-month commitment.

1.4 All plans automatically renew every 12 months unless cancelled under Section 11.

1.5 Payments may be made 6-monthly or annually upfront.

2. Initial Clean & Setup Fee

2.1 All subscriptions include an Initial Clean to reset the gutter system, inspect the roofline, and bring the gutters to a maintainable standard.

2.2 The setup fee is assessed at the measure & quote inspection and may vary depending on the state of the gutters.

2.3 Additional charges may apply where gutters:

  • have not been cleaned in 12+ months

  • contain heavy blockages

  • present hazards requiring extra labour or equipment

3. What’s Included in Each Subscription

Depending on the plan selected, services may include:

  • 1 / 2 / 3 scheduled gutter cleaning visits per year

  • gutter debris removal

  • downpipe checks (where safely accessible)

  • condition photos

  • roofline observation notes

  • priority booking (for Premium subscriptions)

4. What’s Not Included

The following services are not included in any subscription unless purchased as an add-on:

  • roof repairs or roof tile replacement

  • structural repairs

  • solar panel cleaning

  • pressure washing

  • fascia or soffit repairs

  • removal of birds, pests, or nests

  • storm damage remediation

  • any type of restoration or construction work

5. Add-Ons & Extra Charges

Extra fees may apply for:

  • double-storey access

  • solar panel cleaning

  • heavy debris removal

  • additional cleans outside normal schedule

  • minor maintenance outside inclusions

Any additional costs will be communicated before work is performed.

6. Access Requirements

6.1 Clients do not need to be home during service as long as the property is accessible.

6.2 The Client must ensure safe access to the gutters and roofline.

6.3 If access is blocked due to locked gates, pets, obstacles, or hazards, a $50 call-out fee applies.

6.4 Unsafe or inaccessible roofs may result in rescheduling or service refusal.

7. Safety & Weather

7.1 The Gutter Gurus prioritise safe work practices.

7.2 Services may be rescheduled at any time due to:

  • rain

  • storms

  • wind

  • wet roof surfaces

  • unsafe roof pitch

  • sudden hazards

8. Client Responsibilities

The Client must:

  • ensure gates, pets, and obstacles are secured

  • inform the Business of hazards (e.g., electrical, structural, animal)

  • maintain fragile roof materials (old tiles, rusted gutters) before service

  • notify the Business of changes to contact details or access instructions

9. Billing & Payments

9.1 Payments are processed through Stripe subscriptions upon signup.

9.2 Billing renews on the date of signup and follows the billing cycle chosen.

9.3 No refunds are provided for subscription fees or unused services.

9.4 Failed payments will trigger 3 retry attempts within 14 days.

9.5 If payments remain unsuccessful:

  • administrative fees may apply

  • outstanding balances may be referred to a collections agency

9.6 Failure to update payment methods may result in service suspension for up to 6 months, after which the subscription may be terminated.

10. Fair Use Policy

Clients must not:

  • request excessive or early call-outs

  • use the subscription as a repair program

  • expect work outside the scope to be included

  • request emergency call-outs under subscription pricing

The Business reserves the right to decline work breaching fair use.

11. Cancellation & Contract Term

11.1 Subscriptions have a minimum 12-month term.

11.2 After the minimum term, Clients may cancel with 30 days’ written notice.

11.3 If the Client has received more cleans than paid for at cancellation, additional charges may apply.

11.4 Services can be transferred to a new property within 70 km of 51 Marana St, Bilambil Heights NSW.

11.5 If the Client moves outside this radius, the Business may terminate the agreement.

12. Termination by The Gutter Gurus

The Business may terminate the subscription if:

  • access becomes unsafe

  • repeated non-payment occurs

  • abusive or threatening behaviour occurs

  • the property becomes unsuitable for service

  • the Client breaches these Terms

13. Liability & Insurance

13.1 The Business holds valid Public Liability Insurance.

13.2 The Business is not liable for:

  • pre-existing roof damage

  • leaks not caused by gutter cleaning

  • structural issues

  • damage from storms or natural events

  • inaccessible or unsafe areas

  • fragile materials (best-effort basis only)

14. Photos & Privacy

14.1 The Business may take photos during each visit and store them indefinitely.

14.2 Photos may be used for quotes, training, and internal documentation.

14.3 Public use may occur only with the Client’s consent.

15. Communication

15.1 Clients consent to service reminders and notifications via email and SMS, including automated reminders.

15.2 Renewal reminders are sent 30 days, 14 days, and 7 days before renewal.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by:

  • New South Wales law for NSW clients

  • Queensland law for QLD clients

17. Acceptance

By subscribing, the Client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
